Paragon has built a sterling reputation in the credit union industry by consistently providing world class training and consulting services to Volunteer Directors and Supervisory Committee Members. Each January we host a national Volunteer Leadership Institute in the Hawaiian Islands, and we also host several regional Institutes throughout the year.

The Volunteer Leadership Institute – Hawaii has become the premiere development opportunity for credit union volunteers. The combination of respected speakers, participant networking and beautiful location result in a rewarding week of training.
VLI – Hawaii will be celebrating its fifteenth anniversary in January 2012 at the Wailea Beach Marriott Resort and Spa on Maui!
Volunteer Leadership Institute – East Coast
VLI – Hawaii has become so successful that we have partnered with the Massachusetts Share Insurance Corporation (MSIC) to bring the program to the East Coast in 2012. VLI – East Coast will premiere on September 23-27, 2012 at the beautiful Stowe Mountain Lodge in Stowe, VT.
We are very excited to begin offering our East Coast participants a more convenient location for VLI!

Volunteer Leadership Institute – The Basics
Volunteer Leadership Institute – The Basics offers new and less experienced Board members and members of the Supervisory Committee an opportunity to receive an intensive orientation about the skills involved in being a volunteer. It is the “College of Credit Union Knowledge.”
Volunteer Leadership Institute – Intermediate
Volunteer Leadership Institute – Intermediate is a comprehensive two-day seminar on topics critical for Board and Supervisory Committee members. The sessions are designed to help more experienced volunteers probe key aspects of governance and operations. They also encourage networking among peers to gain insight into common challenges and unique solutions.
