With the continuing success and popularity of VLI Hawaii, we are very excited to partner with the Massachusetts Credit Union Share Insurance Corporation (MSIC) to present the premiere of VLI East Coast at the beautiful Stowe Mountain Lodge in Stowe, Vermont in September of 2012.
Institute Information
Seminar sessions led by nationally acclaimed speakers will update attendees on key regulatory, compliance and governance issues. Break out groups will encourage sharing best practices among peers from across the United States.

- Option 1 – Register as a past attendee of VLI Hawaii or as an MSIC Member and save $50 on your registration fee.
- Option 2 – Register six people from your credit union and save $100 each. In addition you may register a seventh attendee for free.
Bonus Strategic Planning Session
On Thursday an optional program will be offered for your credit union staff and Volunteers to have a private, hosted strategic planning event (Individual CEOs and Volunteers can attend the conference independently of this final day).
These sessions will be facilitated by MSIC and The Paragon Group.

Room rates:
Room rates as low as $314 per night. Valet Parking and Resort Fee are included in room rate.
Room rates are subject to tax, which is currently 10%.
Hotel Reservations
To make hotel reservations call: 1- 888-4-STOWEVT. When making reservation, please identify yourself as attending Volunteer Leadership Institute. (VLI) Reservation requests received less than thirty days prior to arrival date will be accepted on a space available basis, at the higher of the contract rate or rate available at that time.
When reservations are made, a deposit equal to one night’s room rate and tax is required. The deposit is refundable if the Hotel receives notice of cancellation at least 14 days prior to scheduled arrival. Upon check-in, each guest will be required to present a valid credit card on which an amount of sufficient pre-authorization can be obtained to cover the room and tax charges and Hotel fees for the length of the guest’s stay, plus the anticipated use of the Hotel’s ancillary services.
- Hotel rates are for single or double occupancy and subject to applicable state and local taxes (currently 10%) in effect at time of check in.
- Maximum room occupancy is four (4) persons.
- Reservations must be received by August 20, 2012. All reservations after that date will be on a space available basis at the Hotel’s then current available rate.
Resort Fee Privileges
The resort fee includes guest access to the fitness room, use of the heated outdoor pool and whirlpool, complimentary wireless access, in room amenities, morning newspaper complimentary golf valet and club storage, and complimentary bike storage if needed. *Inclusions are subject to change.
Cancellations and Refunds

| 15 – 45 days before the start of the institute: | 50% of the registration amount* |
| Less than 15 days before the start of the institute: | No refund, but registration is transferable to another attendee |
*A 3% fee will be subtracted from credit card transactions.
